About the Role

This is an exciting time for Ruby's Therapeutic Youth Service and a great opportunity for you to be a part of a growing, dynamic and supportive team of professionals providing therapeutic support to young people and their families with the aim to prevent youth homelessness through the coordination of a designated Ruby's Reunification Program. This role is responsible for:

  • Case management and case work with clients and their family;
  • Organisation of the activities of the residence and maintenance of an environment that is conducive to conciliation of young people and their families
  • Leadership and supervision of Youth Workers

About You

You will have demonstrated professional experience in the delivery of case management, counselling and knowledge of homelessness services as well as:

  • Certificate IV in Youth Work or equivalent
  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management qualification or equivalent or willingness and ability to undertake the training
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Experience working with young people and families, and knowledge of adolescent development and the impacts of trauma
  • Knowledge of therapeutic approaches including narrative therapy, family and systems theory and attachment theory
