Position Summary

Uniting Communities is seeking an Online chat crisis supporter to join our Lifeline team. This is a casual position, working approximately 13.5 hours per fortnight, based in Franklin Street.

About The Role  

The Online chat crisis supporter is responsible for  provision of high quality Crisis Support Services to online help seekers as part of the Lifeline Adelaide team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Complete one to one chats  and data recording to a high standard to online helpseekers working within the Lifeline practice model.
  • Particpate proactively in supervsion, professional development and practice development work and actively seek addtional debriefing as required.
  • Actively practice self care strategies
  • Safely manage any immediate threat to life/safety of help seekers and/or third parties
  • Particpate in team meetings and other service contnuous improvement  work.
  • Role modelt he values of the organisation

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in Lifeline Crisis Support Services, knowledge of  the Lifeline Practice Model and its application .
