About the Role

This is an exciting time for New ROADS in Mount Gambier, and a great opportunity for you to be a part of a growing, dynamic and supportive team of professionals providing support to people experiencing the effects of alcohol and other drugs. This role is responsible for: 

  • Delivery of client-focused, evidence based Case Work in a multi-disciplinary team across Residential Rehabilitation and Continuum of Care programs
  • To facilitate client groups; including therapeutic, life skills and recreational activities.
  • To provide a high level of advocacy and support to ensure a holistic approach to achievement of client-focused goals/outcomes.

About you

 You will have demonstrated Case Work experience using evidence based interventions as well as;

  • Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) or a relevant qualification in Community Services or Counselling. 
  • Ability to work autonomously with initiative and to actively participate as part of a wider cohesive team. 
  • Experience in professional case work, planning, and case coordination approaches.   
  • Knowledge of best practice therapeutic approaches relevant to AOD and Mental Health service provision.
