We are looking for compassionate and dedicated home and community Care Workers, committed to supporting older people to continue living well in their community and at home. You will be responsible for:

  • delivering domestic services
  • supporting the planning and preparation of meals
  • personal care including showering and assisting with personal hygiene
  • social support and transport
  • promotion of individual choice, wellness and re-ablement
  • observation of behaviour to ensure personal care plans reflect needs

About you:

 

Working both independently and within a growing team of passionate people, you will have the opportunity to participate in a range of formal training and work flexible hours to suit your needs. The successful candidates will have:

  • a certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (desirable)
  • a current unrestricted Drivers Licence
  • an insured and roadworthy vehicle
  • the ability to work various shifts throughout the week
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • strong planning and organisational skills
  • experience as a Care Worker in Aged Care would be highly regarded 

You will have the support of a Coordinator team, be paid to travel between customer appointments where possible and access to use fleet vehicles from time to time.
