About the Role

This is an exciting time for our  Lifeline Adelaide service and a great opportunity for you to be a part of a growing, dynamic and supportive team of professionals providing support to people in crisis. This role is responsible for:

  • Supervising staff and volunteers in our 13 11 14 phone and online chat services to provide high quality crisis support.
  • Providing regular group supervision, call coaching and online chat reviews to staff and volunteers.
  • Ensuring high quality crisis practice and service KPI`s are maintained in conjunction with the Practice Coordinator.

About You

You will have demonstrated experience working in suicide prevention or a related field as well as:

  • Hold an ongoing full accreditation under a national health, social work or counselling registration board
  • Hold a relevant degree and 2 years of practice experience.
  • Have proven experience of supporting and supervising staff and volunteers.

Selection Criteria Essential: Full accreditation under a national health, social work or counselling registration board. Acceptable examples include Australian Counselling Association , Australian Association of Social Workers
Desirable: Experience supporting a volunteer workforce

Desirable: Have experience working within the Lifeline practice model
